February is a good time to prune your apple trees. The cold temperatures will keep viruses at bay. When you prune the tree your cuts provide a path of entry for virus. While it is okay to prune an apple tree anytime, months such as February are the preferred time to prune.

Pick-up and ship dates for apple trees are October - November and March - April.
